Edward P. Foy, Jr. is co-founder and CEO of eFashionSolutions (www.efashionsolutions.com) an Inc. 500 company and has spent his entire career in retailing and fashion, getting his start in Macy's and eventually joining the wholesale business at Calvin Klein Jeanswear. The timing of Foy’s involvement could not have been better, joining cK Jeans during the largest growth of sales in the company’s history. During his time at Calvin Klein, Foy developed key relationships with retail buyers and regional merchandising managers from large specialty chain stores, which became invaluable for his e-commerce success. In 1998, Foy founded CyberRetail.com, which obtained exclusive online distribution contracts with branded fashion manufacturers, and worked closely with third party software vendors in developing custom applications unique to fashion e-commerce. This entrepreneur experience, and understanding of the current market needs for turn-key e-commerce solutions, led him to design a business model as the backend facilitator for branded fashion designers and manufacturers; he formed eFashionSolutions in late 2000 with his wife, Jennifer Silano Foy. The company has seen exponential growth in its revenue and client base since its inception. With a roster of celebrity brand partners which include Dereon by Beyonce, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons, Rocawear by Jay Z, and luxury brands DKNY, Leiber, Rafe and Oscar de la Renta, eFashionSolutions has earned high marks as a leader in fashion-forward e-commerce. In 2007, they were named to the Entrepreneur Hot 500, NJ Finest 50, received the USPS Strategic Business Development Award (prompting a Capital Hill invite), and honored as a Webby Award finalist for DKNY.com. In 2006, eFashionSolutions was named to the Inc. 500 by Inc. Magazine, and was recognized for two consecutive years as one of New Jersey's Finest, a list of the state's 50 fastest-growing companies. Ed Foy, Jr. has been profiled in TIME Magazine, Investor's Business Daily, CNBC, CBS Marketwatch, WWD, Apparel Magazine and is a frequent guest on Bloomberg media. Foy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Iona College. He is a member of the New Jersey Technology Council, Technology Enterprise Council and a Board Member of the New York City Clothing Bank. He is a five-time State Champion, a three-time U.S. Cup Champion and a Junior Olympic Champion in Tae Kwon Do and was a 1992 Olympic hopeful. Foy resides in Spring Lake, New Jersey with his wife and two beautiful daughters. |
